Cori Soliz
LICENSED MARRIAGE & FAMILY THERAPIST 90141
I provide a nonjudgmental and nurturing environment that facilitates your journey towards greater health. By using evidence-based techniques, I can help you find your inner healer and connect you with the lost parts of yourself that are needing guidance right now. By processing painful memories together and releasing emotions or beliefs that have gotten stuck in your mind and body, you will be able to recognize and remember who you truly are. From that lighter place, we'll begin to find more helpful ways of coping with life
I'm committed to...
meeting you where you are at in your process of healing
understanding you so that I can help align you with your highest Self
following your lead and pace so that the process of therapy can feel manageable

ASSOCIATE PROFESSIONAL CLINICAL COUNSELOR
Supervised by Cori Soliz, LMFT #90141
I’ve had the privilege of working with people from many different backgrounds, helping them face life’s challenges and pursue meaningful change. As an American-born Palestinian, I bring a unique perspective shaped by both my cultures, personal experiences, and clinical training. My style as a therapist is all about balance—I’m someone who truly listens and makes sure you feel understood, but I’ll also be honest with you when it’s helpful. Think of me as someone who will stand by your side and guide you, but will also give you a gentle push or help you pivot if it will benefit you on your journey and support your personal goals. If you’re looking for a therapist who’s both supportive and willing to encourage you to and grow, I think we’ll work well together.
I believe real progress starts with a strong, authentic connection in a space where you feel comfortable being yourself. My practice is rooted in a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, and I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, motivational interviewing, play therapy, and creative or expressive methods. I approach every session with cultural awareness, a commitment to accessibility, and a focus on social justice. I’ve supported children, teens, couples, and families—with a special focus on communities of color, neurodiverse individuals, and people navigating complex family dynamics. More than anything, I’m here to help you get in tune with your own awareness and discover how resilient you already are. I see my role as supporting you in recognizing and building on your strengths, always with an open mind and deep respect for your unique story.
If you’re ready to work with someone who will support you and help you grow, I’d be honored to join you on your journey.

"Cori brings a quiet, deep and steady presence to her work. She has gone through all of our workshops and become a healing shame practitioner in addition to all the training she did to become an MFT. She has assisted at many of our workshops. I have watched her guide sessions where she is able to gently take participants into the imaginal realm where deep work can happen. Her work is creative and insightful. Her presence takes counter-shaming to a new level."
